The Talent Strategy and Implementation Group in the Australian Public Service Commission has two primary streams of work. We work with the Secretaries Talent Council and Deputy Secretaries Talent Council to build a strong and diverse leadership pipeline for the most senior roles through annual SES talent and development planning processes, and we work with HR practitioners across the APS to build solutions to support APS-wide talent management practices.
Available to HR practitioners on the APSC website is the Talent Management Guide and Toolkit that includes a range of frameworks and templates including the APS Framework for High Potential, Manager guide to identifying high potential and a Guide to career conversations.
