We are seeking to fill an EL1 Assistant Director Security leadership role on an ongoing basis.
Based in one of Australia’s most prominent national heritage buildings, the National Library, the Assistant Director Security:
- Operates as the Agency Security Adviser for the Library – security risk and threat analysis; liaison with security agencies; education and advice.
- Manages the Agency Security Plan, Policy and Framework, related risk assessments, security procedures and policies. Develops policy and associated documents as required.
- Manages the forward work program for emergency management planning and response – Business Continuity Plan, Business Continuity Policy and Framework and associated emergency plans; threat and incident management; reporting and compliance; education and awareness.
- Manages procurement and contract management arrangements for outsourced security and guarding services.
