 Are you looking for a change?  The opportunity to grow your career and influence organisational leaders in the WHS space?  Office of National Intelligence (ONI) is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Specialist to join their People Policy and Strategy Section – a team that will support you in your role and help you shine as a WHS Specialist.

In this role you will review and assess ONI’s WHS system for legislative compliance, drive and deliver WHS policy reform and advice, as well as map and reform WHS processes including claims management. You will also assist ONI in budgeting for WHS business costs and manage the operations of ONI’s WHS processes, including claims management. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience in reviewing and making risk-based assessments about WHS systems, as well as implementing policy controls, operational processes and compliance mechanisms to ensure organisations can meeting their WHS-legislated obligations.  Applicants will also need to demonstrate expertise in delivering and implementing WHS projects and services within their agency, as well as the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and utilise excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This opportunity is available for a 12-month period initially, however may become an ongoing role.  Candidates must hold (or be able to obtain) a minimum baseline security clearance.
