APS4 HR Officer – Australian Institute of Health and Welfare

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) is seeking a motivated HR Officer to join the People and Facilities Unit to support the coordination and administration of the Learning and Development and Work Health and Safety functions.

You will be responsible for the coordination and promotion of the corporate L&D program, administering the learning management system (LearnHub), addressing L&D queries, supporting the delivery of a range of L&D and WHS initiatives including the implementation of the agency’s Mental Health Strategy, and providing administrative support to the branch.

To be successful in this role you will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive, customer service driven attitude. You will thrive working at a fast pace in a small but supportive team and be able to apply sound judgement and juggle multiple tasks.

This position will be based in Canberra and offered as either ongoing, non-ongoing or an initial contract for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
