APS 5 Workforce Analyst

Geoscience Australia is looking for an APS 5 Workforce Analyst

The Workforce Analyst will provide support for the strategic functions of the team, identifying and implementing operational improvements. The role will be responsible for assisting with the development and deployment of contemporary workforce initiatives and ownership of workforce reporting, analytics and process management.

Happy to consider a temporary transfer at level or higher duties.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare workforce metrics reports and initial analysis to provide advice to decision makers to inform areas for further investigation and evidence based workforce planning
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to provide non-complex advice and support on strategic workforce management processes
  • Identify, plan and implement initiatives for process improvement, streamlining HR team activities to achieve optimal efficacy in alignment with business needs
  • Support projects in workforce planning, workforce optimisation, employee experience design, learning and development, reward and recognition and the graduate program
  • Maintain data integrity and efficiency in HRM Information Systems
  • Administer the Learning Management System and Reward and Recognition System, processing requests for training, study assistance, scholarships and awards

 

Package details:
Total remuneration: $87,476 to $97,126
