September is regulatory month at the APS Academy! In collaboration with the APS Academy, the APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning is pleased to bring you the following sessions;

 

MasterCraft Series – OECD Civil Service Regulatory Best Practice

This MasterCraft Series event presents the international landscape in regulatory functions in the civil service in member countries of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The OECD team will discuss findings from their latest report into Equipping Agile and Autonomous Regulators, including emerging capability needs and structural considerations in regulatory functions. This session will also touch on relevant insights from the OECD’s Network of Economic Regulators, particularly as they relate to regulatory capability and tools in the civil service.

This workshop aligns with the Implementation and Services craft at the Foundation level.

MasterCraft Series – Regulatory Workforce Planning

This MasterCraft Series event presents regulatory managers and leaders with an opportunity to understand and address workforce challenges in regulation, compliance and enforcement teams.

The session will provide evidence-based workforce insights derived from in-depth workforce data analysis. It will highlight priority workforce risk areas to be addressed, and provide hands-on guidance on workforce management tools and strategies for regulatory leaders to address these risks and build engaged, highly capable and high performing, future-ready teams.

This workshop aligns with the Implementation and Services Craft at the Practitioner level.
