Feedback on Entry Level Programs – University Level, Traineeships and Cadetships

Geoscience Australia is going through a process to refresh and review our approach to entry programs, including university level, traineeships and cadets. We are seeking feedback from members in relation to:

  • Broad experience in implementing and running Entry Level Programs, including any learnings, successful outcomes and challenges that we should be aware of
  • Have there been any innovative practices in assessing graduate candidates and what are some of the lessons, successful outcomes and challenges
  • What has been members experience with cadetship programs that have been implemented successfully; are any policies or guidelines that could be shared with Geoscience Australia

elearning – recruitment best practice

Austrade is interested in hearing from agencies who have developed recruitment best practice education tools and/or developed a self help elearning modules to educate hiring managers/selection panels on merit, recruitment myths, transparency, diversity & inclusion and unconscious bias.

We are looking at just in time education rather than mandatory compliance refresher training.
