We would like to understand, how is leave not to count as service is treated in your agencies/departments regarding employee’s LSL entitlements.
Such leaves defer the LSL accrual date however as I understand, each agency can decide for themselves after how many calendar days should such leaves defer the LSL accrual date.
Ex: Some agencies may consider 30 calendar days in a calendar year before leave not to count as service affects the service for LSL. Or some agencies may defer LSL accrual by any leave not to count as service.
